Some things are worth waiting for, like these peanut butter banana cream pie overnight oats! With a graham cracker crust and a smooth healthy filling these are perfect for breakfast, snack time or even a healthy sweet treat! I love running with my friends in the morning because I’m a big fan of working out and catching up at the same time but afterwards I want something healthy, quick and delicious to help refuel my body and these fit the bill! I blend the filling so that the texture is more like a cream pie, but you can definitely just mix everything together too if that’s more your style.
Everything you’ll need to make these overnight oats
- Graham Crackers: provides that nostalgic pie crust flavor!
- Sweeteners: for these oats we use natural sweeteners like banana and maple syrup.
- Yogurt: this is totally up to you on the kind of yogurt you would like to use. Yogurt adds a creamy richness.
- Milk: use your favorite! This helps the overnight oats taste more rich and creamy.
- Rolled Oats: a fiber-rich grain that are also lower on the glycemic index.
- Chia Seeds: I really enjoy adding chia seeds to anything I can because they are full of health benefits! Just to name a few, they help reduce blood pressure, lower cholesterol levels, support digestive health and reduce inflammation!
- Peanut Butter: adds creamy, delicious and rich flavor to these overnight oats, plus it is high in protein and healthy fats!
- Salt: enhances the oats flavors!
