I drink this almost every day of the week! It’s so simple and slightly sweet so it’s my go-to. Also I like to run in the mornings and one thing I really look forward to is drinking my coffee after. This drink is the perfect treat after a nice morning run!
EVERYTHING YOU’LL NEED TO MAKE a honey cinnamon latte
- Espresso: I am currently using a medium dark roast bean for mine, but I switch it up from time to time! So have fun with it and try it out with different roasts. Who knows you may find one you like better than the other.
- Honey: this is a staple in the Wong household. We tend to avoid adding processed sugars to dishes if we can help it and substitute it for honey instead. Honey is mineral rich and is lower on the glycemic index.
- Cinnamon: something about cinnamon and honey just makes sense, and when you combine the two with creamer for an espresso it’s as if you’ve made cinnamon toast crunch cereal milk!
- Nutpod Creamer: seriously my favorite coffee creamer! I use the original one for my lattes, but feel free to use any creamer you’d like to!
Honey Cinnamon Latte
This is my go-to staple morning coffee drink!
Ingredients
- 2 shots espresso
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- nutpod creamer the BEST creamer
Instructions
- Pour your honey in the cup you are going to brew your espresso into. Then brew your espresso over the honey.
- Add your cinnamon to your cup and stir. Then top with nutpod creamer and pour into a glass filled with ice!
