EVERYTHING YOU’LL NEED TO MAKE THIS PROTEIN POWDER NICE CREAM
- Coconut Milk: we use full fat coconut milk to make this!
- Banana: instead of using refined sugar, I like to use a frozen banana to act as a natural sweetener.
- Milk: feel free to use your milk of choice! My husband and I personally use either 2% or whole milk.
- Lemon: adds brightness to the frosty
Healthy Coconut Cream Frosty
This coconut cream frosty is a delightful way to enjoy a healthy cooling treat that's packed with flavor & nutrients! Perfect for those hot summer days!
Ingredients
- 1 lemon, zested then peeled & frozen whole
- 1/2 15 0z can of coconut milk, frozen into ice cubes
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1 banana, peeled & frozen
- 1 tsp vanilla
Toppings (optional)
- 1/2 lemon, zest
- unsweetened shredded coconut
Instructions
- Zest your lemon, if you would like to use as a topping. If not, skip zesting and peel your whole lemon, removing the seeds. Then freeze whole. Also peel and freeze your banana. Next, pour half of your can of coconut milk into ice cube trays and freeze for 2 hours.
- Put everything into a blender & blend together until smooth. Top with zest & unsweetened coconut & enjoy!
