EVERYTHING YOU’LL NEED TO MAKE THIS bruschetta
- Tomato: this is what makes bruschetta taste so fresh.
- Basil: this adds a slightly sweet and peppery flavor to the bruschetta.
- Red Pepper: I like it a lil spicy!
- Balsamic Vinegar: adds flavor body and complexity to the bruschetta.
- Bread: you’ll want to toast the bread that you are using so that it does not get too soggy with the tomato and balsamic vinegar topping.
Bruschetta
This is bruschetta with a lil kick! If you like things a lil spicy, then you’ve come to the right place!
Ingredients
- 1 large tomato, diced
- 6 basil leaves, cut into strips
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- salt
- pepper
- 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- bread of choice
- parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Set your air fryer to bake at 350F for 5 minutes (you can also use your oven for this, I just use my air fryer to save on electricity)
- While your air fryer is heating up, cut your bread into slices, then top with parmesan cheese. When your air fryer has preheated, pop these in.
- While the bread is baking, mix together the tomato, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper and balsamic vinegar (option to add in at this point or drizzle the balsamic vinegar on top after).
- Once the toast is done, top with your tomato mixture. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar, if you did not add it to the tomato mixture and enjoy!
