Instant Pot Chicken Broth

Chicken broth adds so much flavor to dishes and it is so easy to make from scratch plus I love being able to use the entirety of a chicken.

Equipment

  • 1 instant pot or pressure cooker

Ingredients  

  • 1 chicken carcass
  • 1 onion, cut in half
  • 3 carrots, cut in thirds
  • 5 black peppercorn
  • 2 tsp thyme
  • 2 tsp rosemary
  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions 

  • Put all of your ingredients into the instant pot and put enough water to cover the chicken carcass.
  • Set your instant pot or pressure cooker to HIGH pressure for 30 minutes. Allow for natural release. Then strain your broth into jars and store up to 5 days in the refrigerator or up to 3-6 months in the freezer.
